The most treasured celebration of holiday lights in Northwest Arkansas, Lights of the Ozarks, will return to Fayetteville's Historic Downtown Square for the 2025 season!
Make your plans now to celebrate with Experience Fayetteville under the amazing winter wonderland of lights at the Lights of the Ozarks! Beginning with this year's Light Night on Friday, November 21st, Fayetteville's Historic Downtown Square will glow to life each night beginning at 5:00pm. The lights are free and open to the public every night of the week until 1:00am through the end of December.
Bundle up your people and bring them to Fayetteville for a little holiday magic -- we'll see you at Lights of the Ozarks!

Winter Solstice Wonderland Hike!
Step into the magic of winter and celebrate the shortest day of the year on this guided solstice adventure!
As the world quiets and nature settles in for the season, we’ll explore the frosty forest, learning to identify trees without their leaves, spot animal tracks and scat, and uncover the secrets of winter survival in the wild.
Feel the crisp air, listen to the hush of the season, and reflect on the Winter Solstice—a time of renewal, rest, and the promise of longer days ahead.
Join us for a magical, family-friendly hike as we embrace the beauty of the season and prepare to move back toward the light.

8:45am-8:55am - Check-in
8:55am - Orientation with ONSC staff
9am-11am - Hike
Important Information
Parking: Parking is available on site. The gate will be opened before 8:45 and will close once all participants have arrived. ONSC staff open the gate at the end of the hike and will close it once all participants have left. Please do not plan to leave you vehicle in the parking lot after the hike.
Please bring water bottle, long pants, close-toed shoes, and weather-appropriate clothing.

Ticket prices are by donation.
Suggested donation is $10/adult, $5/child 17 and under
Registration is required to help with staffing needs.
All proceeds go to support research, community science, and education at Ozark Natural Science Center.
Walton Arts Center will showcase the creative talents of Arkansas artists from communities across the region in the fifth annual exhibition of Our Art, Our Region, Our Time, on display in the new Alexander Gallery at the Porter Art Warehouse on Wednesday, Oct. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 21.
The exhibition includes 89 pieces by 75 artists representing 19 cities and the diverse communities that make up our region. A complete list of the artists and their hometowns are included below.
The regional art exhibition continues to grow in popularity among local artists with 235 artists submitting 450 pieces of art this year, both are record responses to the annual call for submissions. Walton Arts Center’s visual arts committee reviews each piece with the goal of curating an exhibition that showcases the wide variety of artists who are working in our region and the works that they create.
The public is invited to a ribbon cutting for the new gallery and opening reception for the exhibition at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 29. The free exhibition in the new Alexander Gallery at the Porter Art Warehouse will on display through Saturday, Nov. 15.
Hours for the new gallery are Monday through Saturday 11 am – 2 pm and 5 pm – 8 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
