The annual Fat Saturday Parade of Fools will march through downtown on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Dust off your Mardi Gras best and gather your Krewe, floats and beads! The family-friendly traditional Parade of Fools will once again kick off the Mardi Gras celebration in Fayetteville, AR at 2:00pm on the Historic Downtown Square, head up Block St, and then travel down Dickson St to West Ave. An after-party will be held at George's Majestic Lounge to socialize, crown the new royalty, and award the charity check. Following that, the party moves to The Leroy Lounge for The Funkytown Ball, and it's going to be a blast!

Get ready for krewes and paraders with an abundance of costumes, floats, and multicolor beads!

Mardi Gras has been celebrated in downtown Fayetteville with Fat Tuesday on Dickson Street for at least 30 years! This year, Fat Tuesday festivities will take place on March 4th at 5:00pm. Join costumed revelers from the Krewes for the first annual Fat Tuesday Pub & Grub Crawl on Dickson St. The evening will include a brass band, costumes & prizes, and beads, beads, and more beads!
