The annual event packs all things pottery into a 3-day weekend full of demonstrations, presentations, showcases, and sales! Hosted by Community Creative Center, the Arkansas Pottery Festival activities are held at locations in and around Fayetteville – all of which are free and open to the public.
This exciting 3 day weekend will include pottery demonstrations and lectures by nationally recognized artists Sean O'Connell and Catherine Lemaire-Lozier on Friday and Saturday and an exhibition and pottery sale of over 50 potters from around the region.


Vendor booths will include The Clay Bank, Mecca Pottery Tools, the Museum of Native American History, and a a display of historic pottery from The Arkansas Archeological Survey. Saturday night, Kingfish Bar will be hosting the Potters After Party with a live band. Concurrent events will include the UARK Ceramics Student Sale and Exhibition, Walton Arts Center Illuminations Series exhibition in the WAC lobby featuring artist Andrea L. Moon's show titled "On Form, Order and Containment" , and a retrospective exhibition and pottery sale of the Larkin Family of Potters from Fox Pass Pottery in Hot Springs at the Alexander Gallery, titled "Good Clean Dirt".


Locals love the handmade flowerpot fundraiser, with a wide selection of affordable handmade planters and locally grown plants. Get there early to purchase the perfect handmade planter, planted with a beautiful, complimentary flowering plant. A perfect Mother’s Day Gift!
