The most treasured celebration of holiday lights in Northwest Arkansas, Lights of the Ozarks, will return to Fayetteville's Historic Downtown Square for the 2025 season!
Make your plans now to celebrate with Experience Fayetteville under the amazing winter wonderland of lights at the Lights of the Ozarks! Beginning with this year's Light Night on Friday, November 21st, Fayetteville's Historic Downtown Square will glow to life each night beginning at 5:00pm. The lights are free and open to the public every night of the week until 1:00am through the end of December.
Bundle up your people and bring them to Fayetteville for a little holiday magic -- we'll see you at Lights of the Ozarks!

Before you gather to eat, gather to move with your feet! All ages and paces are welcome as we host both a 5K trek and a 1K trot!
This Thanksgiving day, family friendly event provides the opportunities for families to enjoy fall in Fayetteville as our race course goes from iconic Downtown Fayetteville onto the Razorback greenway and through Wilson Park!
The Spark Foundation is all about encouraging our community to get active and stay active. In keeping with our mission we have eliminated age group awards for the Turkey Trot, we want the person who motivates you to be, YOU!
We want to thank our friends at Natural State Running Club for supporting the Pay-Your-Age portion of this year's race! We want to ensure that everyone who wants to participate has the opportunity to do so! Our Pay-Your-Age program works to alleviate some of the financial strain of race registration fees. Thank you, Natural State Running Club!
You will be able to sign up online up until race start!
1k start- 9am
5k start- 9:15am (1 hour time limit)
Packets can be picked up Thursday morning of the race from 7am-8:55am at the race start.
Parking- please use any downtown Fayetteville lot and walk over!
Due to a high volume of registrants for the Turkey Trot-N-Trek, participants who register for the 5K after 11/23/25 will not be guaranteed a beanie or medal. 1K participants will NOT receive a beanie at the Turkey Trot-N-Trek, but will recieve a finisher medal. Please be sure to register before 11/23/25 to guarantee your medal!
Walton Arts Center will showcase the creative talents of Arkansas artists from communities across the region in the fifth annual exhibition of Our Art, Our Region, Our Time, on display in the new Alexander Gallery at the Porter Art Warehouse on Wednesday, Oct. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 21.
The exhibition includes 89 pieces by 75 artists representing 19 cities and the diverse communities that make up our region. A complete list of the artists and their hometowns are included below.
The regional art exhibition continues to grow in popularity among local artists with 235 artists submitting 450 pieces of art this year, both are record responses to the annual call for submissions. Walton Arts Center’s visual arts committee reviews each piece with the goal of curating an exhibition that showcases the wide variety of artists who are working in our region and the works that they create.
The public is invited to a ribbon cutting for the new gallery and opening reception for the exhibition at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 29. The free exhibition in the new Alexander Gallery at the Porter Art Warehouse will on display through Saturday, Nov. 15.
Hours for the new gallery are Monday through Saturday 11 am – 2 pm and 5 pm – 8 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
