FAYAR Comic Show

All things pop culture fandom will be front and center in Fayetteville, Arkansas as the city plays host to the FAYAR Comic Show. This first-ever convention will introduce an exciting two-day lineup of famous special guests and memorable experiences for fans of comics, sci-fi, anime and horror—complete with celebrity autograph and photo sessions, live panels, incredible cosplayers and even the opportunity to commission new art from phenomenal comics artists.

A Very SoNA Christmas

It simply wouldn’t be the Holiday Season in Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas without the 65-year old Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) and its powerful annual performances of both sacred and secular holiday music. Under the baton of conductor and music director Paul Haas, the orchestra takes the stage with the SoNA Singers and special guest soloists, along with area high school and collegiate choruses to perform A Very SoNA Christmas.

A Christmas Story: The Musical

One of the most popular things to do in Fayetteville during the Holiday Season is catch a play at the Walton Arts Center. Lucky for you, this year’s Broadway Series features A Christmas Story: The Musical. With eight performances running Dec. 10-15, you and your friends or family will have a chance to see this stage adaptation of the 1983 classic film — hilarious cautionary tale about young Ralphie Parker and his do-or-die quest to obtain an “official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot range model air rifle BB gun” on Christmas morning.
