If you’re a seasoned art lover and connoisseur—or perhaps you’re a curious newcomer to visual arts appreciation—a stop at the Fenix Fayetteville home gallery is a great place to enjoy a range of creative expression by a community of talented artists. The juried artistic standards at Fenix are high and the perspectives are fresh, both in the exhibition gallery and the studio space where member artists regularly hold classes and workshops for all ages. Throughout the months of June and July 2019, Fenix presents “Our Universe,” an artistic response to the Walton Art Center’s Artosphere Festival theme of Space. The public is cordially invited to visit a special gallery exhibition and view temporary installations, as well as take part in workshops, attend readings and hear unique musical performances. Fayetteville arts organization and local gallery Art Ventures, in partnership with the Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center at the University of Arkansas, presents visual arts exhibition “Islamic Art in Context” through May 18, 2019.

Gather the family for an afternoon of magic in one of Fayetteville’s most colorful spring attractions. The eARTh festival is taking over the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks as children’s tales come to life on Saturday, April 27 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Fenix Fayetteville Gallery is currently featuring thought-provoking works in it's latest exhibit Collaborations and Conversations. Curated by local artist Steven Schnieder, the show includes 2d and 3d works that seek to circumvent traditional dialogues and respond to questions of our time in robust empathetic ways. 

Art enthusiasts in Fayetteville should make sure to see “Shared Experiences,” an exhibit by the NWA Black Artists Collective, which is being held at The Artist’s Laboratory Theatre, located at 1030 S. College Ave. The art exhibit highlights the experience of black and African-American individuals in Northwest Arkansas. It includes works by artists Veronica Huff, Madison Moon, Raven Cook and Cory Perry, the exhibit’s producer.

Fayetteville’s first tattoo and art expo, Ink & Art in the Ozarks, will take place September 28-30 at Fayetteville Town Center. Presented by Colours Couture and Inked Magazine, the event is an addition to the 2018 Bikes, Blues & BBQ festival schedule.
