Music Moves Celebrates Black Music Month in June

Local nonprofit Music Moves is celebrating Black Music Month with a lineup of native talent.  Each weekend in June, Music Moves will be presenting a series of free online concerts via its website and social media pages in honor of Black musicianship.  Artists from all over the state of Arkansas will be performing in recognition of the extraordinary contribution of African Americans to music of all genres.

A Christmas Story: The Musical

One of the most popular things to do in Fayetteville during the Holiday Season is catch a play at the Walton Arts Center. Lucky for you, this year’s Broadway Series features A Christmas Story: The Musical. With eight performances running Dec. 10-15, you and your friends or family will have a chance to see this stage adaptation of the 1983 classic film — hilarious cautionary tale about young Ralphie Parker and his do-or-die quest to obtain an “official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot range model air rifle BB gun” on Christmas morning.
