December 5
Lights of the Ozarks, the longstanding holiday light display presented by Experience Fayetteville, returns to the historic Fayetteville Square from November 22, 2024 to January 1, 2025. In a departure from tradition, the Lights of the Ozarks Parade will not take place on the first night of the display; it will be held two weeks later.
In keeping with tradition, Lights of the Ozarks kicks off on the Friday before Thanksgiving with Light Night, an energetic countdown and ceremonial flip of the giant switch at 6:00 p.m. followed by live music and merriment.
The Lights of the Ozarks Parade will wind through downtown Fayetteville on Thursday, December 5 starting at 6:30 p.m.
“As the enthusiasm for Lights of the Ozarks has grown, we see the opportunity to spread the holiday cheer by separating the parade from Light Night,” said Chloe Bell, who coordinates the events for Experience Fayetteville. “What was one night of festivity will now be two.”
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for Lights of the Ozarks.
