Urban Cycling Routes in Fayetteville, Arkansas

Urban Adventures

Fayetteville, Arkansas is home to an extensive 50-mile network of family-friendly paved trails that thoughtfully wind throughout town – creating a place for cyclists of all abilities to access outdoor recreation while never being too far from bicycle-friendly restaurants, shops, pubs, and patios. After the ride, Fayetteville offers a variety of bicycle-friendly hotels that provide a well-deserved nights rest ahead of another day of riding – and most within ½ mile of the trails!

Additionally, the Razorback Greenway spans south to north through Fayetteville and serves as the backbone for urban cycling adventures across Northwest Arkansas. Recognized as a National Recreational Trail and one of the country’s “highest caliber trails”, the 40-mile Razorback Greenway and the official “Mile Zero” of the trail system begins at Fayetteville’s Kessler Mountain Regional Park.

Starting from popular outdoor destinations with public parking, the following is a collection of urban routes to make an afternoon or day out of the Razorback Greenway and Fayetteville’s extensive network of trails. To aid in route selection, we’ve assigned a simple rating of Mild, Moderate, or Challenging to each route – based on the overall distance, elevation per mile, and/or services available on the ride.
