September 6-7, 2024

TogueCon 2024, the only event in the midwest dedicated to Japanese cars and culture, returns to downtown Fayetteville this fall, September 6th and 7th!

Touge (峠, tōge) translates literally to “pass” - as in a mountain pass - and is the Japanese equivalent of driving recreationally on backcountry roads. Soon, its fans will gather in Fayetteville with their favorite JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) cars for a weekend of cruises, car shows, and meeting like-minded friends!

TougeCon takes place in Fayetteville, Arkansas every autumn, featuring drives on some of the best roads in the area, a curated custom car show, and an after hours “Need For Speed”/“Tokyo Drift” style garage meet. Aside from the driving portion of TougeCon, the festival is free and open to the public and spectators are encouraged.

TougeCon has a festival atmosphere when it’s on the ground, but plenty of Japanese car devotees will also travel here to experience the sensational driving roads and views of Northwest Arkansas. As it turns out, Fayetteville, Arkansas lies at essentially the same latitude as much of Japan. Add our location in the epicenter of the Ozark Mountains and the winding scenic roads that surround Fayetteville to that, and it’s clear to see why we’re the city that JDM enthusiasts flock to!

The fun begins on Friday night, September 6th, at TougeCon Underground. The Fayetteville Town Center Parking Garage will be transformed into a JDM night meet filled with music, custom lighting, plus plenty of cars and their underglow! The public is invited and all makes/models of cars are welcome, but space is limited.

On Saturday, September 7th, a small group of drivers will embark on a half-day cruise through some of the most technical and scenic roads in the Ozarks. The rest of us will be celebrating TougeCon 2024 back at the Fayetteville Town Center, where dozens of vendors and influencers will be in attendance. Don’t miss the indoor track races and RC drift cars! Just outside, on Fayetteville’s historic downtown square, attendees will discover a free car show with 100 Japanese cars on display.

There's nothing like this event anywhere in the region, so don't miss your opportunity to experience the thrill and energy of TougeCon '24 in Fayetteville, AR! To learn more, visit and follow the organizers on Facebook and Instagram.
