Pedaling Through Fayetteville
Author: Somewhere in Arkansas
We loved our biking adventure on the Razorback Greenway. My husband and I brought our daughter along in a pull-behind trailer, and she loved every minute of it. It was our first time to ride E-bikes, and I highly recommend them. This would be an absolute blast for outdoor enthusiasts, families, and anyone looking for a little in-town adventure.
Stop 1: Pedego Electric Bikes
If you are going to ride any of the trails in Fayetteville, Arkansas then I highly recommend renting an electric bike from Pedego! I had never ridden one before, but the people at Pedego are so friendly and helpful. They explain everything to you about how to use the bike. We practiced in the parking lot until we felt comfortable and then took off on the trail! Once you are on the greenway you will be so happy that you have an electric bike. As you know Fayetteville is in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, and the trails have some hills. However, an E-bike makes the ride a breeze!
Stop 2: City Park Fayetteville
City Park Fayetteville is an outdoor trailside restaurant. It is the perfect place to stop and have a drink or something to eat. The outdoor seating is covered and comfortable and there are plenty of places to leave your bike while you eat. We thought the food was delicious and the service was friendly and quick. They have regular non-alcoholic drinks as well as cocktails and beer.
Stop 3: Wilson Park
Wilson Park is the oldest park in Fayetteville, Arkansas! It is a city park with almost 23 acres. It is a great stop if you are riding the greenway with children. We had our daughter with us and Lyla loved it! They have beautiful gardens and a spring-fed pond. There is also the pretty and popular Castle play area. It was created by a local artist named Frank Williams and is a great spot for both play and photos. Wilson Park would be a perfect stop if you want to bring a picnic with you on your ride on the Greenway.
