So Fay 10k
  • Event date: 2019-10-26

There’s no shortage of year-round running, cycling and multi-sport races in Fayetteville, Arkansas to give active lifestyle lovers a chance to hit the city’s beautiful trails with plenty of other likeminded enthusiasts. However, when the race takes place during one of the prettiest times of year in one of the region’s most gorgeous locations—AND the event is designed for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities—taking part is a must.

The fun-loving folks at Fayetteville Parks and Recreation decided to celebrate autumn in the Ozarks by adding a brand new event to the annual Fayetteville Race Series, and what they came up with is the So Fay 10k. On Saturday, October 26 the public is invited to Kessler Mountain Regional Park to hop on the Cato Springs and Town Branch Trails to see the south Fayetteville (So Fay) section of the region’s much-loved Razorback Greenway. The out and back course is paved and mostly flat, and for kiddos who aren’t quite ready to tackle the whole course, a 1k race will be held within the park. To help recover from all the physical activity, participants will get to carb up again with delicious post-race pancakes.

Registration is $30 for the 10k and $10 for the 1k, and includes a long-sleeved shirt, finisher medal and pancakes.
