Roller derby is a completely unique, high-impact sport that is known for being totally inclusive of age, gender, nationality and background. It consists of two teams of five players roller skating around a track trying to get a designated team member (the "jammer") to lap members of the opposing team.

Roller derby is an international phenomenon that is growing more and more every year. The roller derby community of Northwest Arkansas is full of heart and soul, mixes energy and athleticism, and is a welcoming community that just likes to have a good time. Home games, called "bouts", are often paired with a beer garden and are high on the list of "Sunday Funday" destinations in downtown Fayetteville.
