4th Annual Run for the Parks

Show your appreciation for Fayetteville’s beautiful parks and trails at the 4th Annual Run for the Parks on Sunday, November 18.

This year’s race will feature three distance options, 5k, 10k, and 15k, allowing runners and walkers of all ages to participate. Each race will utilize Fayetteville’s trail systems (Clear Creek, Scull Creek and Frisco Trails) and finish at Walker Park. Starting locations and times are listed below:

15k Start: Lake Fayetteville @ 9:00am 
10k Start: Carol VanScyoc Trailhead (Johnson)  @ 9:30am
5k Start: Wilson Park @ 10:00am

Prizes will be awarded to the Overall Male and Overall Female Finisher of each distance and to the Top Male and Female Finisher of each age group for each distance. There will also be post-race pancakes available for all finishers.

The Run for the Parks entry fee is $35 per person, and includes a long-sleeve shirt, chip timing and finisher medal. Registration can be completed online here.

Shuttles will be available at Walker Park prior to the race to take runners to the starting locations. Visit the City of Fayetteville website for a shuttle schedule and course maps.
