Fayetteville Farmers Market - 50 Years and Thriving

The award-winning Fayetteville Farmers Market - a perennial favorite of locals and visitors alike - celebrated its golden anniversary in 2023! Celebrate the most beloved farmers market in Arkansas with a stroll along Fayetteville's downtown square every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday through the end of the season.

The Fayetteville Farmers Market operates in downtown Fayetteville each Saturday through November (excluding the Saturday after Thanksgiving) from 7:00am to 2:00pm. Tuesday & Thursday walk-up markets are also open through September, setting up on the square from 7:00am to 1:00pm each week. On top of all the wonderful things for sale by local vendors, expect live music on every corner, a rotating selection of food trucks and community groups, and tons of folks and their furry friends all around the square. The Experience Fayetteville Visitors Center also opens for extended hours during the Fayetteville Farmers Market season, so pop in and say hi any weekend!

The Fayetteville Farmers Market, the oldest in Arkansas, features 70 vendors each season. All vendors are vetted and must grow or make their product within 60 miles of Fayetteville! It’s an incredibly hyper-local market that includes a wide variety of seasonal vegetables, fruits, meats, eggs, and cheeses, in addition to fresh-cut flowers, baked goods, honeys, and jams. You’ll also find a variety of plants, fly traps, fine art, and handmade crafts for sale. A “harvest calendar” that shows which fruits and vegetables will be available at the market each month is available in the Fayetteville Visitor’s Guide or in the list below. This interactive map also shows which vendors to expect on each market date, so you can really go prepared!
