For the third year in a row, Fayetteville made the top five in U.S. News & World Report's rankings of the best places to live in America.
According to U.S. News, the report ranks the 125 largest metropolitan areas in the country "based on affordability, job prospects and quality of life." Addtional factors included in a nationwide public survey and data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as well as U.S. News' own rankings of the Best High Schools and Best Hospitals.
Fayetteville came in fifth place for the second year in a row. Other cities included in the top five were Austin, Texas; Colorado Springs, Co.; Denver, CO.; and Des Moines, IA.
