MTW Poker Ride

Fayetteville residents love craft beer, and love to ride bikes. Sometimes, we even do both at the same time!

The Miracle Travel Works (MTW) Poker Ride will be held on Sunday, September 17, and combines Fayetteville’s bike trails with several breweries on the Fayetteville Ale Trail— all for a good cause. Miracle Travel Works helps families with seriously ill or injured children travel as they undergo urgent medical treatments.

Starting at 1 p.m. at Core Public House in Fayetteville (3775 N. Mall Ave.), riders will ride to a series of five of Fayetteville’s finest breweries and pubs:

  • JJ’s Beer Garden & Brewing Co. (3615 Steele Blvd.)
  • Fossil Cove Brewing Co. (1946 N. Birch Ave.)
  • Columbus House Brewery (701 W. North St.)
  • West Mountain (21 W. Mountain St.)
  • Damgoode Pies (37 E. Center St.)

At each stop, participants will collect a playing card, and at the final stop, Damgoode Pies, located right off the Historic Downtown Square, the rider with the best poker hand wins the grand prize: a luxury weekend in Eureka Springs!

The grand prize winner will receive two nights in the beautiful, historic Crescent Hotel, dinner at top restaurants and spending money. (Approximate value totalling $800!)

After the 1 p.m. check-in at Core Public House, the 6.2-mile ride along the Razorback Regional Greenway will take place 1-4 p.m. Free pizza, brews and prizes will be available 4-5:30 p.m. at Damgoode Pies.

The cost to participate is $40. Registration can be completed through the MTW website. For a map of the ride, click here.
