Held August 14th and 15th, the Kessler Mountain Jam utilizes the extensive trail network at the Kessler Mountain Regional Park – known for its backcountry singletrack experience that’s still within the city limits! Featuring miles of twisty trails that follow scenic bluff lines and wind through old-growth forest, the 620-acre public park and nature preserve is a popular year-round destination for hikers, mountain bikers, trail runners and dog owners.
The Kessler Mountain Jam kicks off Saturday, August 14th with a racecourse pre-ride followed by an evening of hosted group rides into town. With Kessler home to Mile Zero of the Northwest Arkansas Razorback Greenway, participants and the public are invited to join in on a selection of themed bicycle rides following Fayetteville’s extensive paved trail network including the Tour de Tacos, Slice of Downtown, and Ice Cream Social. Bring your appetite!
The race action heats up Sunday, August 15th for the Kessler Mountain Jam cross country mountain bike race - part of the Arkansas Mountain Bike Championship Series (AMBCS) and is sanctions by USA Cycling.
