July 3–4, 2026
Fayetteville is bringing back the kind of Fourth of July weekend people have been missing for years — live music downtown, local food and drinks, lawn games in the Ramble, and a big community fireworks show lighting up the sky again.
This year’s America250 celebration turns Independence Day into a full holiday weekend experience, with events happening across the city July 3–4.
It all starts Friday night with the inaugural Fayetteville Sound Bites Featuring Bite Northwest Arkansas at the Upper Ramble, where downtown Fayetteville transforms into an outdoor summer hangout with free live music, family activities, food vendors, and plenty of room to spread out with a blanket or lawn chair.
From 6–10 p.m., the Ramble will feel less like an event venue and more like the city’s backyard party — the kind of evening where kids are running through lawn games, friends are catching up over their favorite summer drink, and live music carries through downtown as the evening settles in.
The lineup for the evening includes:
- Ted Hammig and the Campaign | 6:15-7:15 p.m.
- The Uncrowned Kings | 7:30-8:30 p.m.
- Second Time Around | 8:45-9:45 p.m.
And if your ideal holiday weekend includes trying a nibble of everything Northwest Arkansas has to offer, BITE @ the Ramble should absolutely be on your list.
The ticketed tasting experience, created in partnership with BITE NWA and Outlyr, will feature unlimited tastings from 20 local restaurants and breweries alongside the evening’s live music and festival atmosphere. With only 800 tickets available, it’s expected to sell out quickly. Grab your tickets here!
The holiday weekend continues July 4 with a citywide fireworks show at the Northwest Arkansas Mall. The 9 p.m. display marks the first large public fireworks celebration in Fayetteville since 2015, bringing back a tradition many locals have missed. Guests can tune into 94.9 FM for synchronized music during the show, creating a classic summer finale to the holiday weekend.
Together, the events are designed to connect different parts of the city while spotlighting the restaurants, musicians, small businesses, and gathering spaces that make Fayetteville the reason it is our Favoriteville!
Whether you’re planning a full holiday weekend downtown, meeting friends for Fayetteville Sound Bites or finding the perfect spot to watch fireworks with family, this year’s America250 celebration is shaping up to be one of the biggest weekends of the summer.
