Two Events. One Creative Day.
Pottery on the Patio returns for its sixth year on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Walton Arts Center’s Nadine Baum Studios, this year in partnership with the Fall Fayetteville Gallery Hop. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., you can explore galleries throughout Fayetteville, then stop by Pottery on the Patio for family fun including hands-on art activities, live demonstrations, music, food and drinks.
The Fall Fayetteville Gallery Hop is a free, self-guided tour of eight local galleries and art spaces. The University of Arkansas School of Art will provide a free hop-on, hop-off shuttle connecting the event sites, making it easy to visit several exhibitions throughout the day.
At Community Creative Center, Pottery on the Patio adds a hands-on stop to your Gallery Hop route. Try your hand at the pottery wheel, paint with watercolors, let the kids get creative with clay, or stop by for face painting. There will also be snacks and beverages and free B-Unlimited shirts featuring designs printed live by local artists while supplies last!
Pottery on the Patio is free and open to the public, and proceeds support Community Creative Center and its programming.
Make a Day of It
With Pottery on the Patio and the Fall Fayetteville Gallery Hop happening on the same day, October 17 is a good excuse to spend the day exploring Fayetteville's art scene.
Start at one of the Gallery Hop's parking hubs, visit a few exhibitions, then make your way to Nadine Baum Studios at 505 W. Spring St. for Pottery on the Patio. You can also use the Gallery Hop shuttle to get between participating locations throughout the day.
