A new series of free concerts is coming to Northwest Arkansas this spring, and Fayetteville is hosting half of them in music venues across the city.
Black Fret and House of Songs are partnering to produce a three-month series of shows celebrating exceptional local music called “NWA Sessions”. The public is invited to attend the free events, three of which are happening in Fayetteville! The concerts taking place around Northwest Arkansas kicked off on Saturday, March 5 and will continue through May, with the first show in Fayetteville taking place on Friday, April 1.
Each free concert will feature a Black Fret - an Austin-based music non-profit - awardee playing alongside a NWA-based act. The lineup includes artists like Graham Wilkinson, Sydney Wright, Kalu James, Shaina Shepherd, Tony Kamel, Blk Odyssy, Pat Byrne, Beat Root Revival, Western Youth and more. Featured NWA artists include Auralai, Bonnie Montegomery, BAANG, Jasper Logan, Meadow Makers, Willi Carlisle and Dylan Earl. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
