Fayetteville offers guests a multitude of experiences. Here, culture and nature meet and free spirits thrive. It’s rich in arts, history and entertainment rooted in a strong pride for all things local. Nestled in the Ozark Mountains, it’s a nature-lover’s dream. There’s always something happening here – a good balance between the old and new to provide change in a familiar place.

Fayetteville continues to lead the way for LGBTQ rights in Arkansas. Fayetteville is always a shining example for Arkansas cities on the Human Rights Campaign’s annual Municipal Equality Index, an evaluation examining cities' "laws, policies and services, and rates them on the basis of their inclusivity of LGBTQ people who live and work there.”

Fayetteville celebrates our LGBTQ community as prominently evidenced in the annual Northwest Arkansas Pride Week events. The event is the largest pride celebration in the state and has grown to become a multi-day festival including a parade, rally, guest stars, parties, vendor booths, parties, an interfaith fellowship gathering and more.

Experience Fayetteville is proud to promote acceptance and equality for residents and visitors alike. Grab a Visitor's Guide to learn more about Fayetteville and start planning your experience.
