While Cinco de Mayo is officially the celebration of a Mexican military victory, in the United States we celebrate Mexican-American culture and fabulous Mexican food.

In Fayetteville, many folks look to the restaurants serving mouthwatering Mexican food every day. We have dozens of fantastic local restaurants that serve everything from Tex- Mex to regionally authentic cuisine.

Looking for a local favorite?  Frequented by everyone from hungry college students looking for a bargain, to families looking for a big menu and anyone looking for a cold beer, Burrito Loco, located at 2155 W Martin Luther King Boulevard, is super casual – and delicious.  Established in 2011 as a grocery store in a converted shopping center, Burrito Loco is a hole in the wall legend already. Grab a Coke, order off the board and celebrate Cinco de Mayo (or their always packed Taco Tuesday) with authentic Mexican food.

Events at Burrito Loco on Cinco de Mayo:

  • 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM: $1.99 Mexican draft beers and $2.50 Mexican bottles
  • 5:00 PM - MIDNIGHT: $2.99 tequila shots and $1.99 margaritas on the rocks
  • 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM: A live Mariachi band!
