The Clinton House Museum and Fayetteville Ale Trail have joined forces to launch History Happy Hour! Six different events will take place at the Clinton House throughout 2019 as a part of this series. These are lighthearted and themed events that feature regional history and beer from craft breweries on the Ale Trail.
April 9th Theme: Joke’s on You, Mr. President
In honor of April Fool’s Day, this History Happy Hour will be highlighting the lighter side of the American presidency. Attendees can expect to see Saturday Night Live clips, presidential impersonations, political cartoons, and other funny moments old and new from our presidents.
Tickets are $5 each at the door (no advance ticket sales) and will get you a keepsake pint glass featuring the History Happy Hour logo (pictured above) and two pours of local craft beer, as well as non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, music and mingling. Each event is from 6 to 8 p.m., plenty of time for guests to come and go as they like. Parking is available in the museum driveway and across the street.
Details about each event can be found at ClintonHouseMuseum.org and on Facebook. You can also sign up to get text reminders and event updates by texting HISTORYHAPPY to 51555.
