Event date: April 07, 2018
It’s darty season in Fayetteville! The annual Ales & Tails — an all-you-can-eat crawfish boil — will be held Saturday, April 7, at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The event is a fundraiser for our local furry friends at the Humane Society of the Ozarks, Lib Horn Animal Shelter and Ranger’s Pantry Pet Food Bank.
This is a rain-or-shine fundraiser full of live music, beer from local breweries and fresh Louisiana crawfish. Among the sponsors are Cafe Rue Orleans, one of the best restaurants in Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas, and the Fayetteville Ale Trail, a collection of the best craft breweries in Northwest Arkansas.
Ticket holders are entitled to endless boiled crawfish, corn and potatoes. The crawfish will be served 2-4 p.m., and local breweries are bringing their best handcrafted ale for purchase with ID.
Crescent City Combo will be bringing fresh beats and New Orleans style jazz to the festival, inviting you to either dance along or sit back and enjoy the tunes.
Tickets start at $45, but for VIP access and hand-delivered crawfish, you can buy a table for six for $300. Children 10 and under are entitled to free admission, and are the only critters allowed at the fundraiser (please leave our four-legged friends at home).
Come and enjoy the best party this side of the Mississippi! For more information, visit alesandtails.org.
