Walton Arts Center will showcase the creative talents of Arkansas artists from communities across the region in the fifth annual exhibition of Our Art, Our Region, Our Time, on display in the new Alexander Gallery at the Porter Art Warehouse on Wednesday, Oct. 29 through Sunday, Dec. 21.
The exhibition includes 89 pieces by 75 artists representing 19 cities and the diverse communities that make up our region. A complete list of the artists and their hometowns are included below.
The regional art exhibition continues to grow in popularity among local artists with 235 artists submitting 450 pieces of art this year, both are record responses to the annual call for submissions. The public is invited to a ribbon cutting for the new gallery and opening reception for the exhibition at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 29. The free exhibition in the new Alexander Gallery at the Porter Art Warehouse will on display through Saturday, Nov. 15.
