Hagens Berman Axeon Cycling Team Rolls into Fayetteville

The legendary Hagens Berman Axeon Cycling Team is having their annual training camp in Fayetteville January 31 through February 8.

Founded in 2009 by former professional cyclist and Olympic bronze medalist Axel Merckx, the Hagens Berman Axeon Cycling Team is the premier development program in the cycling world. A UCI Pro Continental cycling team based in the US, the team exists to develop young (under-23) riders through to the very top of the sport. Over the last ten years, the team has seen 26 of their riders graduate to World Tour teams.

Fayetteville was selected after a competitive search to host the team. Hagens Berman Axeon was looking for a location that had great training as well as a great cycle-friendly community. The team will likely hit the Winslow Death March Loop and Black Oak Loop while they're in town.
