Experience Fayetteville issues RFQ for marketing agency

Experience Fayetteville announced an open-bid request for qualifications (RFQ) for the Fayetteville Advertising & Promotion Commission’s advertising contract.

Under the recommendation of Experience Fayetteville Executive Director Molly Rawn, the commission approved issuing the RFQ during its last monthly meeting,  Sept. 19.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, Oct. 23. Since 2001, the Sells Agency has been the agency of record for the Fayetteville Advertising & Promotion Commission.

Hazel Hernandez, Director of Marketing & Communications for Experience Fayetteville, said, “We are initiating an RFQ process because we have reached the end of the term allowed under our previous contract. Experience Fayetteville feels that it is always in the best interest of public entities to periodically open our business up to other vendors who might want to provide these services and who are equally qualified. We believe our marketing has been very successful, but it’s only prudent that we explore all of our options as we continue to work to attract visitors to Fayetteville."
