Summer activities and ways to celebrate the arts are looking a little different this year - as is everything. Lucky for us, many of Fayetteville’s theatres and studios are taking performances, classes and acts to the virtual stage. We are so excited to see that Art’s Live Theatre is expanding its education offerings throughout the summer with the goal of putting young artists at center stage.

Arts Live Theatre goes online next week with their summer YOUniversity virtual theatre classes. Classes are available for young artists, ages 6-18 years old, covering topics such as acting for stage or for film, comedy improv, how to be a magician, fairy tale theatre and more. Classes are taught in one-week blocks virtually on Zoom and are designed to inspire specific age groups.

The online fun begins Monday, July 20th and continues weekly through August 2020. Teaching artists include theatre professionals throughout the country. Click here to see the full list of summer YOUniversity programs and topics.

In addition to the YOUniversity classes, Arts Live Theatre is debuting virtual productions, online audition opportunities, out-of-the-box prompts for projects, video submission calls and lots of ways to collaborate creatively at all ages.
