Sprayetteville Street Art Festival kicks off July 6-12 in downtown Fayetteville.

Thanks to its location in the Ozark Mountains, Fayetteville is surrounded by outdoor beauty, which makes for spectacular cycling, river floats, hiking trails and pretty much everything you like to do in nature. This also includes scenic car and motorcycle rides, as Northwest Arkansas is home to some of the most memorable backroads and highways in the country.

One of the most popular things to do in Fayetteville for both locals and visitors is watching a movie under the stars at the 112 Drive-in Theater, one of the few remaining drive-in theaters in America.

Local nonprofit Music Moves is celebrating Black Music Month with a lineup of native talent.  Each weekend in June, Music Moves will be presenting a series of free online concerts via its website and social media pages in honor of Black musicianship.  Artists from all over the state of Arkansas will be performing in recognition of the extraordinary contribution of African Americans to music of all genres.

Fayetteville has long been known as the cultural epicenter and entertainment headquarters of the region, and one huge reason is the live-music scene, especially along the famed Dickson Street that lies between the Historic Downtown Square and University of Arkansas campus.

The Arkansas Hospitality Association released a reopening guide for those in the restaurant industry.

Governor Asa Hutchinson announced that restaurants can open for dine-in services on Monday, May 11 as long as they follow certain conditions. 

The Regional Arts Service Organization (RASO) at the Northwest Arkansas Council is partnering with the local arts community to provide grants through a new Bridge Fund for small and mid-sized arts culture nonprofit organizations impacted by COVID-19.

The Fayetteville Roots Festival announced their partnership with  Fayetteville restaurant, Wood Stone PIzza and US Foods to expand their Roots Meals for Musicians Program.
