The holliest, jolliest run of them all is back in Fayetteville and celebrating a big birthday this year! Grab your flashiest holiday garb, your ugliest seasonal sweater, and your favorite Santa hat: it’s time to get ready to party at the 10th Annual Jingle Bell Jog 5K & Children’s Fun Run!

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks. The chip-timed race has two categories open for registration: the Jingle Bell Jog 5K Run/Walk for all ages and the Children's Fun Run for those ages 12 and under.

No matter how seriously you're taking the race (or not!), runners and walkers of all levels are encouraged to wear their silliest holiday garb - anything that sparkles and jingles is particularly encouraged. Elf ears, holiday headbands, festive leggings - the tackier, the better! While the whole family is welcome to participate in this family-friendly event, our pets will need to stay warm at home.

Light snacks will be provided for participants the morning of the race beginning at 8:00 am. The Fayetteville Athletic Club will also host a warm-up stretch at 8:30am for 5K participants and again at 9:30am for Fun Runners. The first 200 children to check in for the Fun Run (12 and under) will receive a swag bag, and all participants will go home with a long-sleeve commemorative tee! Awards will be presented to the fastest runners in each age group and all race finishers will receive a custom finisher medal.

The 5K course begins and finishes inside the Botanical Garden and goes out and back along the Lake Fayetteville Trail and the Razorback Greenway. The Children’s Fun Run takes place inside the garden.

Proceeds support the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks’ mission to provide education, entertainment and recreation for the over 70,000 visitors and students who visit the garden each year.
