In early 2022, the world is coming to Fayetteville, Arkansas. Northwest Arkansas is currently preparing to host the 2022 Walmart UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships, which will draw athletes and fans from around the globe. This is only the second time the event has ever been held in the United States. We want to make sure visitors from around the United States and the world are ready for this exciting event in Fayetteville, and part of that is being educated about cyclo-cross. Arkansas Latinas en Bici presents the Tour de Frida – a public art-inspired cycling event celebrating the life and death of artist Frida Kahlo and the Northwest Arkansas Latinx community. *Event moved from July 17 to July 31 due to inclement weather*

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) Management Committee has announced that Fayetteville, Arkansas has been selected to host a cyclo-cross World Cup event on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, as part of the 2021-2022 cyclo-cross World Cup schedule.
