Event date: January 01, 2023
Enjoy the amazing winter wonderland of lights on Fayetteville's Historic Downtown Square!
Make your plans now to celebrate with us Friday, November 18th as we flip the switch for the Lights of the Ozarks lighting ceremony and parade.
The lights illuminate the square each evening from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and remain on through January 1, 2023. Along with the dazzling display of twinkle lights, winter treats, hot cocoa, and festive music make the Lights of the Ozarks an event that cannot be missed!
Each year The City of Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department spends over 2000 hours decorating the Downtown Square with over 500,000 LED lights that can be enjoyed nightly through New Year’s Day, weather permitting.
Lighting Night - Friday, November 18, 2022
The Lighting Night Parade will take place on the Friday prior to Thanksgiving, immediately following the Lighting Ceremony. The event is free and open to the public and will culminate in the Square being fully lit for the first time for the 2022-23 season. Check back soon for the parade route so you can stake out a prime viewing spot before you head down to the Square!
If you would like to apply to be in the parade, please check back soon for a parade application. The cost to enter a float in the Lighting Night Parade for 2022 will be announced at that time.
