Randy Noojin brings Woody Guthrie to life at the Faulkner Center On Saturday, May 5.

Hop on a boxcar through the Dustbowl with Woody Guthrie and commune with the spirit, stories and songs of America's iconic folksinger, saint-of-the-workingman and poet-of-the-people in Randy Noojin’s critically acclaimed, award-winning multimedia solo show ‘Hard Travelin with Woody’. Packed with Guthrie’s spirit, music and artworks, Noojin’s performance brings this tumultuous period of American history to life in an event that is both entertaining and culturally educational.

Fayetteville Yoga Fest is a three-day festival that takes place amongst the Ozark Mountains in Fayetteville, Arkansas on May 4-6th, 2018. The event is a celebration of movement, music and mindful living, with a msision to build a community that cultivates compassion, creativity and connection.

The festival features more than 60 yoga classes over the course of three days, including both outdoor & indoor yoga classes for all levels and age groups. In addition to yoga classes, the event will also offer meditation, live music, kids yoga, group hikes, thought-provoking discussions & presentations, art, food and shopping (with local, earth-conscious vendors).

The third annual Arkansas Brewgrass Fest will be held Sunday, April 29, 1-7 p.m. at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The event welcomes everyone to come out and enjoy bluegrass music, local food, tons of fun and, of course, great beer.

The Walton Arts Center is hosting a production of “Beautiful - The Carole King Musical” April 24-29 as part of its Broadway Series, which brings to Fayetteville some of the most heralded theatrical productions in the world.

“Beautiful - The Carole King Musical” tells the Tony and Grammy Award-winning inspiring true story of King’s remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history. Along the way, she made more than beautiful music, she wrote the soundtrack to a generation.
