The opener for the Faulkner Performing Arts Center’s 2018-19 season will feature the operatic talents of Sarah Mesko. Mesko, with pianist Lyndon Meyer, will perform 'Through The Years’, an assortment of musical selections that take the audience on a journey through composers and styles from multiple eras.

The 2018 Washington County Fair is coming to Fayetteville Tuesday, August 21 through Saturday, August 25. Established in 1857, this celebration is the largest county fair in Arkansas!

This family-friendly event has a little something for everyone from bull riding to the Miss Washington County pageant, action-packed rides and livestock competitions. All ages will enjoy walking the fairgrounds, riding the rides and celebrating summer with that oh so sweet fair food.

Rich in history and an event for the whole family, the Washington County Historical Society will be hosting its 47th Annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, Aug. 18, from 3-6p.m. Join community members and families alike at the Headquarters House Museum (118 East Dickson Street) for ice cream, cake, music and even more entertainment.

Calling all beer enthusiasts! The second annual Fayetteville Beerology Fest will be held Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29, at Nomads.

Hosted by Ozark Mixology Education, proceeds from this event are used to support the Fayetteville Animal Shelter. Beerology Fest bartenders will be mixing up “beertails in support of dog tails.”
