Firefly Fling

One of Northwest Arkansas’ most anticipated midsummer events is back! The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks will transform into an exciting land of imagination for the 2017 Firefly Fling on Saturday, July 15, from 6 to 10 pm.

Before dark, community groups will offer engaging and fun activities like fairy house building, a photo booth, obstacle course, giant bubbles, nature stations, crafts and more!

Musicians including The Firefly Fling Band and Shaky Bugs will perform on the great lawn and local artists will put on puppet and storytelling shows on the Reading Railroad stage. Garden and woodland fairies will be granting wishes to children throughout the garden.

After dark, families may participate in glowing games and then gather on the lawn for glow-in-the-dark performances, fire dancing with Violetta Lotus Fireflies and a special Community Wishes Finale. Guests may bring blankets and picnics, but food trucks will be selling food as well. The Firefly Shoppe will have fairy wings, wands, glow sticks and other festival items for sale so bring a little cash to design your own fairy costume!

In advance: $11 for adults, $4 for children ages 3-13
At the gate: $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 3-13 and free for children under 3.

Advance tickets can be purchased on the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks' website.
