Frost Fest 2020

For all those craft beer lovers out in the world, there’s nothing that warms the heart and soul more on a chilly winter’s day than a gathering of 45 or so breweries from multiple states—all ready to pour samples of their very best products. If this sounds like your version of nirvana, you’ll want to make solid plans to attend Frost Fest 2020 on Saturday, February 1.

Organized by Fayetteville’s popular Fossil Cove Brewing Co., Frost Fest celebrates all things microbrew and craft beer alongside great live music, an array of food trucks, live art and local vendors. The tasting alone is spectacular, and the experience is further enhanced by the appearance of scores of brewery representatives ready and willing to talk about their products and inspiration. In addition to celebrating the winter season in the Ozarks, the folks at Fossil Cove are also anxious for festival-goers to be part of the release of their own special Barleywine.

Tickets and sampling glasses for Arkansas’s premier winter beer festival are available online for advance purchase. The event will take place rain, snow, ice or shine, with no refunds. Attendees must be 21 or older.

  • General admission tickets for 3 p.m. entry ordered through January 5 are $50; starting January 6 the price is $60
  • Beer Enthusiast tickets are $80 and allow for early 2 p.m. entry and a special sampling glass
  • Proceeds from ticket sales support Fossil Cove’s nonprofit partner, Apple Seeds NWA—an innovative urban teaching farm with a mission of inspiring healthy living through garden-based education

While you’re living the good life at Frost Fest, come meet the folks behind the Fayetteville Ale Trail, the state’s original craft beer tour. They’ll be on site to share regional tasting passports to take thirsty brew-lovers on a self-guided tour of 15 unique stops, hand out some cool Fayetteville Ale Trail stickers—and even help get you signed up for a special giveaway.

If you’re coming to Fayetteville from out of town, we suggest you check out Experience Fayetteville’s hotel recommendations for great places to lay your head, as well as tasty restaurant options, shopping and many other unique things the city has to offer.

Cheers—Prost—Salud—Chin-Chin—Salood!
