FAYAR Comic Show

All things pop culture fandom will be front and center in Fayetteville, Arkansas as the city plays host to the FAYAR Comic Show. This first-ever convention will introduce an exciting two-day lineup of famous special guests and memorable experiences for fans of comics, sci-fi, anime and horror—complete with celebrity autograph and photo sessions, live panels, incredible cosplayers and even the opportunity to commission new art from phenomenal comics artists.

Set for February 29 and March 1, 2020, FAYAR Comic Show will unfold at the Fayetteville Town Center. Actors and media guests will be present, representing all sorts of genres—such as Ray Wise (Robocop, Twin Peaks), Alison Arngrim and Charlotte Stewart of television series Little House on the Prairie, John Wesley Shipp (The Flash) and C. Thomas Howell (The Outsiders.) Also attending will be Sherilyn Fenn, Gary Hershberger,  Felissa Rose, Katherine Kamhi, Jonathan Tiersten, Maximo Sorrentino, Tamara Glynn, Kimmy Robertson, Harry Goaz, James Marshall, Dana Ashbrook, Sheryl Lee, Eric DaRe and Rebekah Del Rio. Well-known professional voice actors attending are Aaron Roberts, Amber Lee Connors, Alejandro Saab, Dawn Bennett, Melissa Sternenberg and Brittney Karbowski.

The lineup of artists with outstanding credentials in the realm of comics is impressive, ranging from Jim Henson’s cartoonist to artists for DC, Marvel and many other well-known comics companies. Expect to meet Guy Gilchrist, Jim Shooter, Johnny Desjardins, Josh Howard, John Lucas, Brett Breeding, John Beatty, Renee Witterstaetter, Vo Nguyen, Michael Golden and Graham Nolan.

A fan-focused convention wouldn’t be complete without pro cosplayers, and attendees will have the chance to see Sylvia Slays, MCubed Cosplay, Dee Rich and Cosplay Odyssey. Also on hand will be professional cosplay photographer Shane Cappelle of Roxas Studios.

The FAYAR Comic Show is appropriate for all ages, and special pricing is available for children and students. On March 1, military and first responders are invited to attend free when presenting an ID. General admission ticketsVIP packagesphoto ops and special event passes are all available for advance purchase.
