Jingle Bell Jog

Much of the flora and fauna of the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks may go temporarily dormant in December, but the gardens are anything but quiet in the winter season. The 8th Annual Jingle Bell Jog 5K & Children’s Fun Run on Saturday, December 7, 2019 provides the perfect excuse for people of all ages to run amok (or walk) in their craziest holiday attire.

If it sparkles, jingles, resembles Santa, elves, reindeer—or even somehow lights up—festive wearables are highly encouraged as part of what makes this active holiday celebration so memorable. And…we hear that Santa himself will actually be on hand to cheer runners across the finish line!

The lucky first 200 children ages 12 and under receive their own swag bag of goodies, and everyone has the opportunity to enjoy light snacks before the races begin. The 5K course takes a beautiful and safe route from inside the Botanical Garden and along the Lake Fayetteville Trail and Razorback Greenway, and the Children’s Fun Run happens entirely within the garden grounds. This race is chip-timed and all finishers receive a medal. Fastest runners from each age group receive awards.

Online registration is available here, and participants can also register the day of the race.
