2019 NCAA South Central Regional Cross Country Championships

Distance running is a big deal in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The city and its surrounding countryside have a longstanding reputation as being one of the best places in the country to train and compete in cross country racing. A dedicated course designed for University of Arkansas male and female college athletes is one of just a few in the nation—and that, paired with the natural beauty and varied topography of the Ozarks, provides an outstanding experience for runners.

On Friday, November 15, 2019 Division I runners from Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee will converge on Fayetteville for the NCAA South Central Regional Cross Country Championships. Women run a 6K race and men run a 10K, both of which will take place on the Agri Park Cross Country Course located a couple of miles north of the University of Arkansas campus. The course features several distinct areas, including an open meadow and agricultural fields, a pond and multiple groves of trees—all right in the heart of town.
