NWA Fashion Week

Frills, frocks and finery will take center stage in Fayetteville, Arkansas as the fall NWA Fashion Week brings a packed schedule of beautiful runway shows to Jett Aircraft at Drake Field—October 3 – 5, 2019.

With a mission of supporting creativity in fashion and style in Northwest Arkansas, the semi-annual NWA Fashion Week has become a highly anticipated part of the region’s must-do events. A series of diverse and exiting runway shows are designed to highlight fashion trends, emerging local brands and up-and-coming designers, as well as display the work of regional stylists, models, designers, photographers and production teams.

Here’s a highlight of each of the runway shows:

The Future of Fashion – October 3

Doors open at 6 p.m. | Showtime at 6:30 p.m.

Features collections developed by eight designers during the first-ever NWAFW Designer Cohort Program. Gabrielle Korn, former editor-in-chief of NYLON will speak about the impact of fashion on the culture and industry of the heartland, as well as the current state of fashion.

The collection designers are: Basana Chhetri, Big Sister, Ethwes, Herron Hats, Hope & Faith, Robbie’s Era and Rosie Rose.

NWAFW Friday Runway Show – October 4

Doors open at 6 p.m. | Showtime at 6:30 p.m.

Runway collections will be presented by several area designers, alongside six of the most sophisticated, fashion-forward boutiques in the region. The evening will provide a mix of ready-to-wear, high-end suiting, avant-garde and a bit of blurred lines between art and fashion.

Featured designers are 4ME Jayla Lee, Crystal La’Shay, Felix Bui, Framed in Fashion, RubyRu Designs and Samantha’s Garden. The boutiques represented are 59th and 9th, Anna Grace Formals, Hubbard Clothing Co., LOLA, Skye on the Town and Suite One.

NWAFW Saturday Runway Show – October 5

Doors open at 6 p.m. | Showtime at 6:30 p.m.

Bringing to the runway designers from Amsterdam, Kansas City, Little Rock and Tulsa, the focus of the Saturday headliner show is designer apparel. Guests will see couture and avant-garde collections with pieces ranging from evening wear and boudoir to leather goods and upcycling.

Modeled collections come from 2 Boudoir Chicks, Ashton Hall – The Collection, Bizarre Couture, christianMICHEAL, Elizabeth, Ellen Elaine Educational Collaboration, HOUSE OF COLBY, Off the Record, Onemanband. and The R Gene.

Tickets are available for individual runway shows at nwafw.com and range from $30 to $150 per person.
