Joe Martin Gran Fondo presented by Experience Fayetteville

The Joe Martin Gran Fondo, taking place September 19, is a one-day cycling event for amateurs who would like to experience part of the same courses as the pros, but who do not want to live life on the edge — at least not for their day job!

The Joe Martin Gran Fondo, presented by Experience Fayetteville, is a one-day cycling event for amateurs who would like to experience the courses from the annual Joe Martin Stage Race.

The Gran Fondo allows more casual riders to “become a pro for a day,” with routes featuring portions of the same courses the pros compete on during the Stage Race. This year’s event offers great ride options for everyone – 15, 25, 55, 65 and 85 miles – of scenic road riding or for the more adventurous – 44, 70 miles – on backcountry gravel.  Not quite ready for the open road or challenges of Ozark Mountain gravel? Then hit the paved Northwest Arkansas Razorback Greenway on a route that lets you decide the distance!

Unique this year, cyclists select how they want to experience the Joe Martin Gran Fondo – including (1) a traditional rollout on Saturday, September 19, 2020, (2) an In-Person Solo Challenge on the same marked courses but where participants pick their own start time from noon on Friday, September 18th until noon on Sunday, September 20th, or as a Driveway Challenge where participants ride a route from where they live while still receiving the unique finisher medal, event t-shirt, and additional swag in the mail.
