Comedians Northwest Arkansas — a super secret club for Fayetteville’s finest fools — recruits comedians from all over the nation to perform and entertain at Fayetteville’s most popular venues. Here are a few to get you started …

Nomad’s

Every other Thursday, Nomad’s gears up for an open-mic night of comedic insanity. Do you enjoy hand-crafted cocktails and local brews? Because this venue has outstanding food and drink specials to tickle your appetite, as well as your funny bone. In addition to open-mic nights, Nomads hosts events like the Southtown Comedy Show, inviting the best comedians in the country to perform alongside local Fayetteville jokesters.

Stage Eighteen

Lip-sync battles and local magicians are just a few of the events hosted by Stage Eighteen. Located right off the Fayetteville square, Stage Eighteen is the perfect place for date night or a night on the town with friends.

Featuring the Comedians of the Galaxy Tour and the Intersections Comedy Night, Stage Eighteen invites people from all backgrounds to kick back and enjoy good laughs among even better company. Their hand-crafted cocktails are hard to beat, and Stage Eighteen is within walking distance of other popular venues in Fayetteville like Maxine’s Tap Room and a Taste of Thai.

UARK Bowl

Referred to as the Super Bowl of Fayetteville, UARK Bowl is a touchdown for local comedy fans. Featuring comedians like A.J. Finney and Justin Leon, UARK Bowl invites the latest and greatest to perform on a monthly basis.

In addition to scheduled stand-up and open-mic nights, the UARK Bowl also features The Natural State of Comedy Showcase and Phunbags Improv, favorites among the locals. Located on Dickson Street, the UARK Bowl is in a great location to experience Fayetteville’s nightlife scene, with clubs and bars to end (or begin) your night.

Backspace

Backspace is a sort of “do it yourself” creative spot for Fayetteville’s most eccentric locals. And, comedians flock in from all over the region to join in on the fun at the flourishing venue that houses a wide variety of artistic ventures. With comedy shows sure to make you giggle, blush and cheer, Backspace comedy is not for the faint of heart.

Located right off the Razorback Regional Greenway, behind TheatreSquared and Cork and Keg, Backspace is a great BYOB spot for anyone seeking great laughs.
