Levy, along with volunteers and Fenix Fayetteville artists, completed the five-block-long public artwork located in the heart of downtown Fayetteville during the month of May. Topo Map for School Avenue was made using thermoplastic and features a life-scale topographic map of the terrain between Dickson and Mountain Streets, acting as a visual reminder of the issues of water in Fayetteville’s hilly landscape.
The opening for the art installation is on Friday, June 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the Walton Arts Center Bradberry Amphitheater and gardens. The installation will be in place throughout Artosphere and beyond.
For a complete schedule of Artosphere events, please visit the Walton Arts Center website.
