Families and children are invited to enjoy a film screening -- in Spanish! -- of Coco, presented by the Fayetteville Public Library and Experience Fayetteville.

On Tuesday, December 7, from 6-8pm, the Willard and Pat Walker Community Room at the Fayetteville Public Library will be filled with the joyous sights and sounds of Coco on the big screen.

Coco follows the journey of 12-year-old aspiring musician Miguel as he navigates the “Land of the Dead” to seek help from his deceased grandfather in order to realize his musical dreams. The film is heavily inspired by Día de los Muertos, the Mexican holiday where family and friends gather to celebrate and remember the deceased.

The first 50 families and children to arrive for the screening will receive a goodie bag of materials from both Fayetteville Public Library and Experience Fayetteville. The event is free and open to the public and all are welcome.

Registration and masks are required. Visit FPL’s website for more information and to register.
