For example, the ingredients for Holy Smokin' Fajoli include white beans and potatoes, roasted garlic and sliced smoked sausage with a hint of rosemary and basil. They top it with sour cream and fresh cracked black pepper. Zuppa Zuppa is located on S. Government Ave., right off MLK.

Known mostly for their fantastic sandwiches, Stone Mill also offers a few delicious soups, including the Fire Roasted Tomato soup, which it serves every day. The soup features fire-roasted tomatoes with basil and garlic in a creamy mirepoix base. In fact, if you’re torn between a soup or sandwich, get the Heartwarmer, a cup of the Fire Roasted Tomato soup served with a grilled cheese sandwich. Boom, problem solved!
Sambar at Khana Indian Grill
If you still haven’t been to Khana Indian Grill, do yourself a favor and go. The entire menu is some of the best dishes in Fayetteville. However, one chaat (savory street snack) is worth mentioning on this list: the sambar. It’s a spicy dal lentil soup with green beans, carrots and chayote squash. Along with getting it in a cup or bowl, you can order with with rice, too.
Pho at Typhoon Vietnamese Cuisine
Northwest Arkansas has seen an explosion of pho eateries in recent years, and Typhoon in Fayetteville offers guests excellent options. Typhoon’s pho, a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup, is especially good. It’s comprised of rice noodles, red and green onions and cilantro. Choose what broth you want: Bo (beef) or Ga (chicken), then what additional ingredients you want, such as brisket, wanton and fried tofu. It’s served with a garnished plate of bean sprouts, jalapeños, basil and lime.
