Calling all beer enthusiasts! The second annual Fayetteville Beerology Fest will be held Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29, at Nomads.

Hosted by Ozark Mixology Education, proceeds from this event are used to support the Fayetteville Animal Shelter. Beerology Fest bartenders will be mixing up “beertails in support of dog tails.”

The weekend's events start on Saturday at 3 p.m. with “Pet a Pup & Drink a Pint," featuring an Ozark Mixology class in which you can mix your own beertail. Sunday will include a “beermosa” brunch at 11 a.m., featuring beer and brunch pairings, as well as the bartenders ball at 2 p.m. at Axis Lounge.

At the end of the fest, the public will vote for their favorite beers, breweries and even dogs. In exchange for these votes, 10 dogs will have their adoption sponsored, as well as 10 percent of ticket sales going toward support of the animal shelter.

Beerology weekend passes start at $12 and include a signature glass with samples all weekend long. Purchase tickets now on eventbrite.com and come enjoy this fun event that only happens once a year!
