U of A Jazz Combo will be playing live Saturday morning from 10-noon.
The University of Arkansas Jazz Combo is a multi-faceted ensemble made up of student musicians from across the State of Arkansas and the surrounding region.
This ensemble performs a variety of compositions from the jazz repertoire and embraces the myriads of musical styles Jazz has demonstrated over the past hundred years. Many of the past jazz combo members have gone on to become professional musicians and music educators throughout the United States.
This ensemble has played at various local venues and has performed at many public schools, colleges and universities in Arkansas. They have also performed at the Jazz Education Network national conference and have participated internationally at the Bucharest International JAZZ Competition in Bucharest, Romania.
