Thursdays, 6pm – our Owl Creek ride (March-October) – We meet at Owl Creek Elementary and have 3 different groups, depending on participation.
Usually there is an “A” group/race (20+mph avg.) drop group,
a “B” group focused on group riding skills (16-19mph), no-drop group (meaning no one left behind),
and a “C group/ Beginner’s Group” – which is a more relaxed ride where newer cyclists learn about group riding basics and experienced riders enjoy a more social ride.
Join us!
The “Meteoride”

Chinkapin Hollow gravel racing kicks off on October 25th with multiple route options of 24, 40, 64, and 110 miles.
Participants can expect long stretches of rolling gravel roads that descend through historic communities predating the American Civil War.
Riders will depart from Lake Wedington through wooded, canopy covered roads that are not normally open to riders. All four distances include sections of Forest Service roads that are normally off limits to cyclists but are available to Chinkapin Hollow participants through a special permit. From there, they'll travel on some of the best gravel roads you can imagine! The 40, 64 and 110 courses have been updated with a new starting section with less paved climbing at first and more gravel!
The start/finish location is Lake Wedington Recreation Area just outside of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Lake Wedington is a US Forest Service Park and offers great amenities and a natural setting to come hang out for the weekend and enjoy some of the best gravel in the Ozarks of Northwest Arkansas.
There will be hot food and cold beverages once you finish inside the park.
