Join FPL and the University of Arkansas Department of Mathematical Sciences for a day of mathematical fun for the whole family!

This community event explores the wonderful world of math beyond the classroom – with fascinating patterns, puzzles and questions. Members of the Department of Mathematical Sciences will share their love and joy of mathematics through a variety of hands-on activities for the whole family (preschool to high school!), including math games, puzzles, art and more.

The Department of Mathematical Sciences is committed to high-level mathematical research and mathematics instruction and to the values of a broad, interdisciplinary education, preparing students for a variety of different career goals, including industry, education, and further graduate study. The Department is also committed to bringing together and strengthening the math community to increase access to math and inspire the broader Arkansas community.

Razorbacks' Red-White Game

The Razorbacks’ annual Red-White game is set for Saturday, April 19 at 1pm inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Gates open at noon. 

Following the game, the football team – led by returning stars QB Taylen Green, OL Fernando Carmona, DL Cam Ball and LB Xavian Sorey Jr. – will hold an autograph session presented by Arkansas Edge on the north concourse.

The event is free and open to the public.

Prior to kickoff, Hog Town will be held outside Gate 14 on the north side of Razorback Stadium beginning at 10 a.m. and feature music, a variety of food trucks from across Northwest Arkansas, sponsor activations, kids activities, a classic car show and more.

Toad & Fairy Houses

Bring the whole family to make homes for fairies out of clay! We’ll make unique and decorative little houses that will look great in your yard. Each student will make the clay project start to finish and paint it with colored slips! These creations also make a safe and cool place for frogs and toads to stay cool during the day! Your amphibious neighbors will eat the bugs that would otherwise end up in your garden! Great for families and all ages!

Calling all Pugs! Pug Paw-ty!

Calling all Pugs (and Pug mixes)! We are having a Pug party at Good Dog Cafe from 3:00-4:30! Bring your Pugs to romp in the park and make some new friends!
We will be closed to the public so that only Pugs (& Pug mixes) can attend this event.
A limited food & drink menu will be available during the entire event.
Event may be postponed if the weather doesn't cooperate.
Admission for this special event is $12 per dog and a waiver must be signed before entering the park. Dogs must meet our off-leash park requirements.
We do not allow children under 12 in the off-leash park, but they are welcome in the leashed area.

Please make sure that all dogs are healthy before attending event.
